It was our first time here. Very nice host at the front door and very nice and attentive staff. We had the rice with black beans and steaks with onion and tostones. It was amazing. Only small issue was food wasn't hot enough. Will definitely go back t0 this place .
This is my third time here. I kept coming saying ok let me try one more time. Unfortunately I just can't go there again. I asked for Mofongo de Churrasco. I get a piece of meat with a tiny piece of Mofongo on the side. I almost cry when I saw my plate. If I wanted Churrasco with a side I would had ordered that. I expected better from the cook but unfortunately they are not Boricua. Mofongo de Churrasco is a good size of Mofongo and in the middle of it pieces of Churrasco etc, even integrated etc would had been great. Also the flavor of it all was horrible. This was more like a cheap skirt steak. My cousin had bistec encebollado. Was bad as well. Was sooo thin n cheap flavor. Looked more like a sandwich steak. The appetizer of tostones with ropa vieja, omg baaad. The ropa vieja was flavorless tick and rubbery making the tostones sooo saggy and wet. Ugh im just so disappointed. Is embarrassing at the same time going to eat "Boricua" food and being the opposite. The server that heard my complaint told me to give them one more chance. I just cant
I've been in the place a few times, it's a nice local people spot, it's a nice place to bring a few people and eat their amazing food, their drinks are good too.
Excellent food, I really can't complain about the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately we waited 15 minutes before getting a menu and it wasn't even busy. This place can probably triple it's profit by stepping up their customer service.
the food was amazing. staff very friendly. the owners is really nice guy. had some beers there also. plus the customers who were there were all very friendly. Great atmosphere.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon with my wife. Delicious food and great drinks! Can't go wrong thank you!!!
Food was delicious. Bacalao Guisado with Rice n Pink beans was excellent not salty and real bacalao not Pollock. My friend had a Palomillo steak wrap in a plantain which was succulent. The Alcapurrias though a little over fried had the taste of a kiosko in Puerto Rico. We topped it off with 2 Medalla beers. Overall the food is authentic. Our server Amar was very attentive, and courteous. Will come again with more friends so they can see the difference between Caridad franchises, and an authentic Criollo restaurant
